This course focuses on interpreting and applying aviation weather reports and forecasts to support safe and informed flight planning and decision-making. Students will learn to decode and analyze METARs, TAFs, PIREPs, and other aviation weather products, including graphical and digital weather resources. The course emphasizes understanding trends, limitations, and the operational significance of reported and forecast conditions. Through practical exercises, students will develop the ability to evaluate weather information, anticipate changing conditions, and apply this knowledge to go/no-go decisions in accordance with FAA standards.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor.
