This course provides hands-on training in using ForeFlight to access and interpret aviation weather for safe and efficient flight operations. Students will explore ForeFlight’s weather tools, including interactive radar, satellite imagery, graphical forecasts, and text weather products such as METARs and TAFs. The course emphasizes understanding how to evaluate changing weather conditions, integrate data into flight planning, and make informed go/no-go decisions. By the end, students will be able to confidently use ForeFlight’s weather features to enhance situational awareness and support sound aeronautical decision-making.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor.
