This course introduces the principles and practical applications of aircraft performance and limitations as outlined in the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS). Students will learn how to interpret and apply performance charts, calculate takeoff and landing distances, determine weight and balance, and understand the effects of density altitude, wind, and runway conditions on aircraft performance. Emphasis is placed on recognizing aircraft limitations, operating within safe margins, and applying performance data to real-world flight scenarios in compliance with FAA standards.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor.
